Anastasia Korinthiou is a writer, screenwriter, lyricist and for the last year she has been living her life's dream on Booking Hill. She states that her "job" is to make people smile, through radio and television, where she has worked for the last 26 years and of course in the pages of her books or now serving coffee and recommending books.
She has been awarded by the Academy of Arts and Letters in Tirana, the Ends Foundation, the New Iconian Women's Association, Unesco, PODR, Hegexoros and the South Aegean Region for her cultural activities, while her book Transparent Soul was in the final ten of the Public Awards and is about to be theatrically adapted by Aikor Production. Her novels (19 in total) are all included in the bestseller list and even her book For the Heart of an Angel was adapted for television by Stratos Markidis and won the title of best series based on a book in 2015 on the occasion of 25 years of private television.
She has written the children's musicals Paramythosalata, Finos the dolphin and Marios' Baraki starring Pavlos Haikalis, Tania Trypi and Thanos Kontogiorgis, in a collaboration with Christos Papadopoulos, with whom she has also collaborated as a lyricist, while her lyrics have been set to music by A. Papantoniou, H. Anthoula, Grigoris Petrakos and Pantelis Talatianos.
Her research on the Myths of the 48 Aegean Islands has been scripted and made into an animated documentary, while she has collaborated with the theatre company Apoichos, the Healthy Life Festival, the radio stations Palmos, Cosmos and Aegean TV. She is editor-in-chief of Books and Writers magazine and writes for Koita Magazine and sapiophile.gr.
She is currently working on her new book in collaboration with her cousin Maria Korinthiou, participating in an international painting exhibition of her paintings by gallery owner Cem Ustener and "spreading her dreams" with old and new friends in her new neighborhood, Daphne. She considers her books her children, but her biological children (Angeliki, Zineta and Antonis) are her best "trilogy".
