Deska Virginia was born and raised in Preveza by two parents who struggled to teach her to believe in her own strengths. At thirteen she timidly started writing and a year later the darkness of the Middle Ages had won her over. After researching every source available, her first book began to take shape only to end up deep in a dark drawer. An inquisitive spirit from a young age, with her interests spreading across various fields, she went from studying Italian literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, to working as an Assistant Pastry Chef in her hometown, only to leave shortly afterwards to study Nutrition and then to work as an Assistant Manager in a catering shop in Athens, where she still lives today with her husband and her three-legged dog Milka. The source of her inspiration, the reason to get up every day and keep going. In her time of confinement, Covid-19, she suffocates and her husband gives her wings. He tells her to write... and he's the first to believe in her talent. Between Ritsos' "Moonlight Sonata", which is her beginning, and the works of Hesiod, the idea is born. Her first erotic noir takes flesh and it is the one that, first, comes out of her drawer to reach all of you today.
