Nektaria Markaki was born in Athens and studied Photography at the public IEK Haidari. Her love for books began at a young age, and in her teenage years, the need for expression through writing was born. She took her first steps as a writer during her teenage years, writing love stories in blue notebooks with a Bic pen. Daily life, her studies, and later her work forced her to step away from her great love for a few years, but in her thirties, she began writing systematically again. In 2014, she started sharing her works on the Wattpad platform, where she found great success with her book "Without a Map," which marked her first publishing attempt in 2015. Since then, she has written over forty books, including "Of Love and War," "Cuba Libre," and "The Curse," published by Grafima Publications, and "To the Extreme," published by Silk Editions.
With Carmela’s Books electronic editions, three of her books are already available: "Aradia 1 & 2" and "The Art of Deception."
Her goal is to write books that make readers forget, reflect, and fall in love. She writes because that’s how she feels truly alive.
