Eleftheria Kalognoma was born in Athens in 1971.
She studied French Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is involved in teaching French. Her short story "A Tango on the Balcony" was part of a 2020 short story collection published by Πρότυπες Εκδόσεις Πηγή (Protypes Ekdoseis Pigi), titled "Stay Close to Me from Afar," which was centered on the first lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She also participates in the blog "Pens of Dreams" and writes novels on a large international platform, where she has a following of over a thousand readers. She is an amateur translator and has previously worked in subtitling for private television.
